ICT Launchpad Impact
Impact Built Through Consistency
ICT Launchpad is a Wichita-based youth leadership and mentorship nonprofit focused on helping young people build character, confidence, healthy decision-making, creativity and real-world skills through hands-on experiences and consistent relationships.
Current Work: Mueller Leadership 2026–27
Our current Mueller Elementary leadership group includes 25 students. ICT Launchpad's recurring school-year work is designed around leadership and character development, teamwork, healthy decision-making, reflection, mentoring and hands-on learning. Mueller's own 2026–27 priorities include project-based learning connected to real-world experiences, future careers and emerging technologies, creating a strong alignment for the partnership.
A Track Record of Youth Engagement
ICT Launchpad's 2025–26 reporting to Kansas Health Foundation documented work with approximately 35 fourth- and fifth-grade students at Mueller through leadership and character discussions, healthy-eating exposure, written reflections, teamwork, communication and problem-solving. The current 2026–27 group is 25 students.
Youth Creating Something Real
Launchpad youth previously participated in the creation of “No Walls For ME!,” a published children's anthology developed in collaboration with ten youth contributors. The project grew from summer experiences that exposed young people to new places, foods, careers and possibilities, then gave them an opportunity to turn those experiences into a finished product.
Independent Recognition & Partnership
Wichita Public Schools named Bryce Graham a Fall 2024 Good Apple Honoree, recognizing exemplary service to the district and students.
Wichita Public Schools Foundation identifies Launchpad ICT as a Mueller partner and invited ICT Launchpad into the Mueller Love Schools collaboration in 2026.
United Way of the Plains selected ICT Launchpad as a 2022 Promise on the Plains recipient and later recognized the Summer Enrichment and Exploration Program as the Education category winner of Impact on the Plains.
KWCH recognized ICT Launchpad with a Helping Hand in 2023, highlighting mentoring through community events, summer camps, after-school programs and the Back2School Block Party.
What We're Building Next
Launchpad is continuing to strengthen the Mueller program, expand the bench of volunteers and mentors, develop stronger community and career partnerships, and pursue tools that help young people write, research, create, present and document what they are learning. We measure progress by what young people are actually able to experience, produce and carry forward—not by the number of programs we can list.
